Binance Security Incident: $6.3B Impact, Withdrawals Still Paused

Binance puts the impact at about $6.3 billion, says about $3 billion is frozen, and says it has reserved more than $6.34 billion of company funds to cover losses. Its investigation has now found more points of breach beyond the first laptop lead. Deposits are running; withdrawals are still paused, with co-CEO Richard Teng saying Binance is hopeful users can withdraw prior to Sunday and on track within about 40 hours.
